Japanese name: ロータリードラム真空フィルター／デカンタ遠心（高固形分連続固液分離）
Decanter centrifuges and rotary drum vacuum filters separate high-solids slurries such as fermentation broth in a continuous process, removing and dewatering cells or filamentous mycelium. Buyers choose the equipment type by solids properties and throughput, whether washing can raise recovery, and CIP compatibility. Equipment from makers in Japan and abroad is listed: horizontal decanter centrifuges, rotary drum vacuum filters and related continuous solid-liquid separators.
