These Terms set out the conditions for using the content and services provided by Proglenth (the “Site”). By using the Site, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to the use of all pages, articles, process maps, the glossary, product information, news, the newsletter and other content provided by the Site (collectively, the “Content”).

2. Nature of the Content and disclaimer

The Content is intended to organize and explain general information about the manufacture, analysis and regulation of pharmaceuticals. It is not a recommendation of any specific product or method, and it is not regulatory, medical, legal or investment advice.
Actual manufacturing methods, control strategies, quality standards and regulatory requirements differ by product, company and country or region. When making practical decisions, always check the pharmacopoeias and guidelines (ICH, GMP and others) of each region and the primary information from manufacturers.
We make efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or useful. The Site cannot accept responsibility for the results of any decision or action based on the Content.

3. Copyright and intellectual property

Copyright and other rights in the Content (text, figures and tables, process flow diagrams, glossary definitions and other material) belong to the Site or to their rightful holders. Except for quotation that meets the requirements for quotation (such as stating the source, keeping the quoted material subordinate to your own work, and not altering it), please do not reproduce, republish, modify or redistribute the Content without permission. Some images are used in accordance with the terms of their providers (such as Unsplash), and the rights to those images belong to each provider.

4. Prohibited conduct

When using the Content, you must not:

act in violation of laws and regulations or public order and morals;
infringe the copyright or other rights of the Site or of third parties;
make bulk copies of the Content, or republish or redistribute it, without permission, or use it commercially;
interfere with the operation of the Site, for example through excessive access or scraping by automated means; or
impersonate the Site or spread false information.

5. External links and third-party content

The Content includes links to external sites, such as manufacturers' official information, academic literature and regulatory authorities. The content of those linked sites is managed by each provider under its own responsibility, and the Site is not responsible for its accuracy or availability.

6. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Content is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the Site is not liable for any damage suffered by users or third parties as a result of using, or being unable to use, the Content.

7. Newsletter and inquiries

Personal information obtained through newsletter sign-ups and inquiries is handled in accordance with the privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

8. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be revised as necessary. If there is an important change, we will announce it on the Site. If you use the Site after a revision, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and the use of the Site are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises in connection with the Content, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Site's operator shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
