Action level
Also called action limit
アクションレベルakushon reberu
A predefined level, typically in environmental or water system monitoring, that when exceeded requires investigation and corrective action. It is set with reference to the limits for each cleanroom grade and to historical data. Japanese environmental monitoring reports list action and alert levels side by side for each sampling point. A result above the action level is normally handled as a deviation, with an assessment of its impact on product made in that area during that period.
