Formulation screening covers the methods and instruments used to test combinations of buffer, pH and excipients in small volumes and narrow down stable formulation conditions. Early in formulation development, combined with DoE, they return thermal stability (Tm) and aggregation temperature (Tagg) to sort candidates efficiently. Buyers compare whether microliter-scale samples can be measured at high throughput, since that sets development speed.
