Noncanonical amino acids (ncAA)

21 listings from 11 suppliers

Japanese name: 非天然アミノ酸(ncAA・pAMF等)

Noncanonical amino acids (ncAAs) carry a reactive handle, such as an azide or BCN group, on the side chain. They are placed site-specifically in proteins by amber suppression or cell-free translation, and then joined by click reactions such as SPAAC. Buyers compare the azide side against the strained alkyne side, how it is introduced (genetic code expansion, peptide synthesis or methionine analogs), protecting groups such as Fmoc, and purity. What follows is our list of tracked products, with makers and the Japanese companies that sell them.
